scheduling and facilitating one face to face meeting of the External Steering Committee
and subsequent conference calls, scheduling and facilitating meetings of the Executive Committee,
and scheduling and facilitating monthly review of the fiduciary responsibilities.
- Financial review and utilization: Every quarter, and as needed, the team meets
with individual investigators to go over budget progress and utilization of funds as a
mentoring activity for budget management.
- Optimize Shared Resources: The ACORE allocates
shared resources based on availability and demand
according to the strategic priorities developed and overseen by the Executive Committee (EC).
Resource utilization and pending requests are reviewed at every EC meeting and
decisions will be made as needed.
- Administrative structure for collaboration and regulatory support:
Collaborations are maintained through web access, distribution lists, interdisciplinary
meetings, and strong interdisciplinary participation through both the EC and EAC.
As relationships mature, joint symposia will be planned to highlight particular synergies
or novel applications of innovative methods by interdisciplinary teams that have completed
work together.
